Fotografie is voor mij de ultieme manier om de schoonheid te ontdekken:
Het loopt als een rode draad door mijn leven, een eeuwige herinnering aan (bijzondere) momentopnames.
Ik blijf altijd op zoek naar dat mooiste beeld, dat mooiste moment.
De fotografie begon met een dia en zwartwit film en een z/w doka in de kast, dat is inmiddels zeker 40 jaar terug in de tijd.
De basis ligt daar, ik denk er nu wel eens over na om te gaan printen, dit om het gevoel van verschillende fotopapieren en daarmee de verschillende fotoresultaten per papiersoort weer te krijgen.
Mijn interesse ligt bij landschap/natuurfotografie, stedelijk landschap/architectuur en nieuwe technieken of experimentele fotografie. Mijn doel is om de schoonheid van het moment te ontdekken en vast te leggen.
Het liefst fotografeer ik als ik op reis ben, als het kan een landschap waar de tijd heeft stil gestaan, voor mij zijn het de oerlandschappen net zoals er ook oerbossen zijn.
Fotografie is ook in de natuur zijn en getuige zijn van haar wonderen, met onvoorspelbare lichtomstandigheden, zoeken naar de juiste plaats, dat moment vastleggen: dat is wat fotografie bijzonder maakt en mij bij helpt om er deel van uit te maken.
Photography is for me the ultimate way to discover the beauty of my environment:
It runs like a red thread through my life, an eternal memory of (special) photo shots. I am always looking for that most beautiful image, that most beautiful moment.
The photography started with a color slide and black-and-white film and a black-and-white darkroom in the cupboard, which is now at least 40 years back in time.
The base is there, I now sometimes: think about going to print, this to get the feeling of different photo papers and the different photo results of each paper types.
My interests lie in landscape/nature photography, urban landscape/architecture and new techniques or experimental photography. My goal is to discover and capture the beauty of the moment.
I prefer to photograph when i’m traveling if possible a landscape where time has stood still, for me it is the primeval landscapes just like there are primeval forests.
